Patience
The capacity to stay present without forcing resolution.
Impatience is often anxiety wearing a schedule. The discomfort of not knowing pushes for premature action, and premature action is usually corrective work you will do twice.
Ruach builds patience through the body first. It is far easier to wait when the nervous system is not treating delay as danger.

Scripture
Quoted verbatim (King James Version, public domain). The notes beneath each passage are Ruach's educational commentary, not Scripture.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Ruach context: written to scattered communities under pressure; 'patience' here carries the sense of endurance under load.
Ruach application: patience is described as doing work, not as waiting emptily. Something is being formed while nothing appears to happen.
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Ruach context: reflective wisdom literature comparing how things start with how they conclude.
Ruach application: most regretted actions are taken near the beginning of a feeling. Delay is often the whole intervention.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Ruach context: the closing line of a psalm about fear and confidence — waiting is paired with courage, not passivity.
Ruach application: 'be of good courage' sits inside the instruction to wait. Waiting is framed as something that takes strength, not something that happens while strength is elsewhere.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Ruach context: spoken to a people in exile facing a long wait, with no quick exit on offer.
Ruach application: note the order — flying, running, then walking. Most of waiting is walking: ordinary faithfulness at ordinary pace, without fainting.
